Report Disserttation Writing Workshop For II Year PGS
Dissertation writing workshop for II year MD/MS students of 2017-18 batch
Postgraduate students in Medical colleges rarely perceive dissertation as an important component of their training. Most often dissertations are results of poorly planned and executed research or copy and paste of a previously done research/dissertation. Even though there are a number of reasons which can be attributed to such practices, one strong reason is that the postgraduate students are not exposed to a formal training for research and academic writing.
Hence, in recognition of the need for enhancing the dissertation writing and research skills of the post graduates, the Scientific Committee organized a Training Workshop on Dissertation Writing on 27th and 28th June 2018 for II – year MD/MS students. Forty-one postgraduates attended the workshop.
