As part of this program, there will be periodic visits to the PHCs by the psychiatrists on every Thursday thus covering all the PHCs of Nagamangala Taluk once in 3 months. The activities planned at PHCs include orientation & training of health workers/ASHA workers, evaluation psychiatric patients pooled on that day, free drug distribution, awareness program for public through question answer session, house visits etc.
