The department of pharmacology organized a Guest Lecture on “Communication Skills For MBBS Students” on 24th April 2018. The Guest Speaker was Dr.Manjunath G N, Prof and Head, Dept of Pharmacology, Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumakuru.

Dr. M G Shivaramu, Principal, AIMS, B G Nagara Dr. Aliya Nusrath, Prof and Head and Dr. Chikkanna D, Associate Professor, Dept of Biochemistry; Dr. Satish N T, Associate Professor, Dr. Kumar U, Associate Professor and Dr Vinay J, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Forensic Medicine; Dr Anand K S, Assistant Professor of Physiology; other faculty from various departments and MBBS students were the delegates for the guest lecture.

Dr. Manjunath’s talk was well appreciated by the students and staff members. After the completion of the scientific session, two role plays (Doctor – Patient communication) were performed by IV term MBBS students on incomplete communication and complete communication.
